I live in the Northwest "Rainforest", I feel this greatly influences my mind and work. Welding, Quilting, Botanically inspired Art. Playing with textile paint, rust, vintage anything! I try to keep my art unique and close to the things I enjoy working with.
Hey Kathi, Heeellllooooo from Australia. I love ur work work, especially the rusty hearts. So wish the postal rates between US + Oz were not so extortionate as would love to buy one - well, several. It's interesting that the love of rust seems to b universal. I have recently started a FB page called RUST LUST. When u get a spare minute, do have a look - would love u to join if ur interested. Thank you very much! Yes too bad there is not a cheap shipping alternative. I sent a baby quilt to a friend in Parup NT...(is that Northern Territory..my geography is bad) anyway it did cost quite a bit to ship. I do love all the rust things, I even make "rust dyed" fabric! I checked out the group it's very fun to browse all the pics. So I can join? even though I'm all the way over here? Thanks, KathiB
Just found you on Pinterest. These rusty hearts are so cool. I love them. I live in north Albany and work in Corvallis so we're practically neighbors. Maybe I'll see you at the Spring Garden Festival next year. Congrats on your awesome artwork!
